What is 5G?

5G is the successor to the 4G network and can be seen as the latest generation of mobile internet. This network is able to achieve higher speeds and the response time is much lower, making internet on mobile devices even more user-friendly and faster. However, these are not the only benefits you can enjoy if you use 5G. This network is also more stable and less taxing on your phone's battery. There are currently several phones available that can use a 5G router and network, but we expect this to change quickly in the future and that at some point almost all mobile devices will switch to the 5G network.

Various tests have shown that the speed of a 5G network can reach up to 1.25 Gbit per second. The 4G network is currently capable of speeds of 150 Mbit. What should you pay attention to when purchasing a 5G router?

If you are looking into a 5G router, it is important that you pay attention to a number of important points. It is therefore important to investigate the available frequencies of the router and whether these frequencies can be used with your mobile provider.
