Door zijn compact vorm kan de MBX 5G in a grote verscheidenheid aan situaties worden ingezet, zoals voertuigen, vaartuigen and filiaalnetwerken. Various functies from de MAX HD4 MBX 5G zijn speciaal ontworpen for mobiele toepassingen in voertuigen. Zo laat de Ignition Sensing-functie de router automatisch inschakelen zodra de motor is gestart. Als the voertuig geparkeerd staat, kan de tijd worden ingesteld waarna de MAX HD4 MBX 5G automatisch uitschakelt. This gepatenteerde VPN-technologie from Peplink is speciaal ontworpen for multi-WAN-omgevingen. In tegenstelling to standaardrouters kan a Speedfusion-router de bandbreedte from alle WAN-verbindingen stapelen.
