The Rebelcell 12V18 AV li-ion battery with up to 3x longer sailing time than ‘standard’ 12V9A lead-acid batteries. It is ideal for smaller (4 to 5 inch) depth sounders and bait boats. The battery weighs only 1 kg and can be discharged up to 100% without adversely affecting performance or service life. It is lightweight and compact, fast and can be recharged in between uses (fully charged within 4 to 5 hours). Reliable and long-lasting, with built-in abuse protection (against deep discharge, overvoltage, high temperature, etc.) by BMS and a lifespan of up to 10 years.
Easy to take with you when traveling, complies with IATA guidelines and may (under certain conditions) be carried in hand luggage on the plane.
Extra weight (piece of lead) may be necessary when used in bait boats. Consult your bait boat specialist about this. The battery is splash-proof according to the IP54 standard. To prevent problems, use a battery box and place the battery upright on a raised surface to prevent the battery from standing in water or water from damaging the battery through the top.
