The Vetus Maxwell RCM4 is a four-button wireless radio remote-control system for marine equipment. It is designed to remotely operate two separate windlasses or a combination of one windlass and one bow thruster.
In a dual-windlass installation, the four buttons can control the up and down functions of both windlasses. In a combined installation, two buttons can raise and lower the anchor, while the other two operate the bow thruster to port and starboard.
The kit includes a portable handheld transmitter and a receiver for permanent installation. The receiver is suitable for 12- or 24-volt DC electrical systems.
The P104817 is part of the Maxwell Anchoring Systems range and is also identified as the Maxwell RCM4. Check the windlass, contactor, relay and bow-thruster control system for compatibility before ordering.
