The Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G 5GK version is a professional industrial mobile router designed for demanding installations in vehicles, marine environments, public transport, emergency services, industrial systems and remote sites.
This version uses a Qualcomm X65 5G modem and supports both 5G Standalone and Non-Standalone Sub-6 GHz networks.
Two physical Nano-SIM slots are provided, together with Peplink eSIM and BYO eSIM support.
Compared with earlier BR1 Pro 5G hardware, the 5GK version adds 802.3at PoE input on a LAN port, edge-computing capabilities and 8 GB of onboard storage.
For wired connectivity, the router provides one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. The WAN port can also be configured as LAN.
Simultaneous dual-band WiFi 6 operates on 2.4 and 5 GHz and can function as both an access point and WiFi WAN connection.
Peplink SpeedFusion provides Hot Failover, WAN Smoothing and Bandwidth Bonding for reliable multi-WAN connectivity.
