The 19-inch monitor FDS1904T for ECDIS and radar systems, suitable for day and night use. Complies with standards IEC 60945, IEC61174, IEC62288.
Suitable for use during the day and at night: Thanks to the large dimmable range from less than 1 cd/m2 to 590 cd/m2, the monitor is perfectly suitable for changing lighting conditions. This way you can optimally adjust the brightness of the monitor for any ambient lighting and the monitor can also be used in dark rooms without any problems.
The brightness, gamma and RGB color settings are calibrated at the factory, ensuring that the monitor's color reproduction meets the high specific ECDIS requirements. The monitor complies with IEC 61174, IEC 62288 and IEC 62388, the international standards for ECDIS systems and RADAR applications.
The VA panel with a large viewing angle ensures that the contrast hardly decreases from any viewing angle and only minimal color deviations occur. This ensures precise color reproduction and clear images even in the corners of the screen.
The monitor is flicker-free at any brightness setting. And that is nice: because the eyes do not have to process this flicker, the user gets tired less quickly when working on a screen.
Heat, cold, vibration – the monitor can withstand loads in the maritime environment. The monitor complies with the device standard according to IEC 60945 for environmental and electromagnetic compatibility, which is prescribed for the approval of marine equipment. In addition, the monitor has protection class IP65 and is therefore even protected against the ingress of dust and water jets. Other properties: A special coating protects the electronics against moisture. And the monitor aeration fan is easily accessible for easy replacement.
The monitor meets the requirements of major maritime classifications, with approvals for LR (Great Britain), DNV (Norway/Germany), ABS (United States), NK (Japan) and EU RO MR.
