The Vetus Maxwell AA320 is a robust wired handheld controller with two push buttons for locally operating a windlass or other compatible marine equipment.
The controller is particularly useful when the windlass must be operated from the bow and visibility from the helm is limited. The two buttons are normally used to raise and lower the anchor.
The AA320 has a rugged coiled cable approximately 4.5 metres long. This allows the operator to move within a limited area of the deck while controlling the installation.
A rubber over-mould provides additional grip and helps protect the controller against impacts. The handheld controller, cable and connection components are rated to IP67.
The AA320 can be installed alongside suitable AutoAnchor controls, toggle switches, foot switches and other control stations. It also includes protection against electrical back-EMF.
