The Airmar 300WX-7-232-01 is a professional marine WeatherStation instrument for real-time weather and motion data on board. This compact multisensor combines ultrasonic wind measurement with barometric pressure, air temperature, GNSS, heading data, pitch/roll and rate-of-turn data.
This version is suitable for stationary and mobile marine applications such as yachts, workboats, commercial vessels, harbours, buoys, offshore platforms and autonomous systems. Because the 300WX uses ultrasonic wind measurement, there are no rotating wind cups or vanes. This reduces wear and maintenance.
The 300WX calculates not only apparent wind, but also Dynamic True Wind. Wind data is combined with GNSS speed, heading and motion sensors to better determine true wind speed and direction on a moving vessel.
Note: this specific 300WX-7-232-01 version is the RS232 / NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 CANbus version without relative humidity sensor. Cables and mounting accessories are not included as standard unless listed separately with the set.
