The Amphenol NMEA2000 terminator is used to correctly terminate an onboard NMEA 2000 backbone. An NMEA 2000 network normally requires a 120 Ohm terminator at both ends of the backbone to keep data communication stable and prevent network faults.
This terminator is suitable for marine NMEA 2000 installations using Micro-C/M12 5-pin connectors. Depending on the version, a male or female terminator is used at the end of the backbone. Always check which connector is available on your T-piece, backbone cable or distribution block before ordering.
