The Airmar 33-398-04 is a genuine maintenance and replacement kit for the Airmar DST800 Triducer multisensor with a valved thru-hull housing. It is intended for replacing a damaged, worn or seized paddlewheel used for speed-through-water measurement.
Water flowing along the hull rotates the paddlewheel, allowing the sensor to calculate speed through the water. Fouling, dirt or mechanical damage may prevent it from turning correctly. This kit allows the mechanical measuring component to be replaced without purchasing a complete DST800 transducer.
The kit contains one paddlewheel, one shaft with the newer short-pin design and four sealing O-rings.
