Dual frequency Navtex receiver - 518 / 490kHz, which receives and stores Navtex messages for viewing on a Bluetooth Android smartphone or tablet.
The BT-3 Navtex module is designed to be continuously powered on so that stored messages can be downloaded by the user if desired.
With the free BlueNavtex2 Android app, the user can search the stored messages and program the BT-3 module to display desired messages from selected stations.
The internal memory stores more than four hundred Navtex messages, with new messages overwriting old ones.
The receiver can be supplied with a rod antenna or, for interference-sensitive environments, with an H-vector antenna.
For Apple devices, optional paid iOS apps are available through the App Store, such as the NASA Navtex Viewer.
BlueNavtex2 App works on Android smartphones and tablets with version 4.3 and higher.
Optional rod antenna: Nasa Marine 518/490kHz Navtex antenna, available in our shop.
