Why use a 4° tilt adapter?
Radar systems perform best when installed as close to horizontal as possible.
Many planing powerboats run with the bow several degrees higher than when stationary. This can cause the radar to tilt backwards.
The Scanstrut PT3010 provides a fixed 4° correction to help improve radar alignment during normal cruising.
