The diskAshur Pro is a FIPS 140, level 3 certified portable encrypted USB 3.0 hard drive.
The iStorage diskAshur PRO is certified and tested to NIST FIPS 140-2 Level 2 specifications (certification number 1970).
The iStorage diskAshur PRO2 is an easy-to-use, ultra-secure, hardware-encrypted portable hard drive with a capacity of up to 5TB. Simply connect the USB 3.1 cable to any computer, enter a 7-15 digit PIN, and once the correct PIN is entered, all data on the drive is decrypted and accessible. To lock the drive and encrypt all data, simply disconnect the iStorage diskAshur PRO2 from the host computer. The entire contents of the drive will now be encrypted (full disk encryption) using military-grade AES 256-bit hardware encryption (XTS mode). If the drive is lost or stolen and the wrong PIN is entered 15 times in succession, the drive will be reset. The encryption key will be deleted, and all data previously stored on the drive will be lost forever.
One of the unique and underlying security features of the GDPR-compliant iStorage diskAshur PRO2 is its dedicated, hardware-protected microprocessor, which is Common Creteria EAL4+ compliant. The microprocessor utilizes built-in physical protection mechanisms designed to defend against external tampering, bypass attacks, and fault injections. Unlike other solutions, the iStorage diskAshur PRO2 responds to an automated attack by entering a locked-down freeze state, rendering all such attacks futile. In plain and simple terms, access is impossible without a PIN code!

Without installing drivers or software, the iStorage diskAshur PRO2 is truly platform/device independent and works with all operating systems, including all versions of MS Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Chrome, Thin Clients, Zero Clients, and embedded systems. In fact, it works on any device with a USB port!
The iStorage diskAshur PRO2 is certified according to FIPS 140-2 Level 3, NCSC CPA Basic Level, Common Criteria, and has been issued a NATO Restricted rating by the NBV. This product is also water and dust resistant (IP 56 certified) and comes with a protective carrying case.
