The Precision-9 Compass provides heading and speed-of-turn information to the autopilot, radar, and navigation system. It delivers data based on reliable solid-state sensor technology, and this compact compass offers easy installation on board a vessel. The Precision-9 now offers continuous automatic calibration, constantly collecting new calibration data and comparing it with the current stored calibration. If the new calibration data exceeds a certain threshold, the new data will be used.
Course determination Rate Of Turn (ROT), roll, pitch, and output via NMEA 2000, the course and RED calculated based on data from the 9-axis rotation sensor. The Precision 9 is easy to install with a single NMEA 2000 connection. It has the standard NMEA 2000 PGN Heave 127252 output.
