The Toyotomi/Zibro Type B mica burner window is an original replacement part for LC-35, LC-40, LC-400, LC-135, LC-140 and LC-4040(A) kerosene heaters.
The mica window is installed around the burner and combustion chamber and allows visual inspection of the flame and combustion process.
Mica is particularly suitable for this application because it withstands high operating temperatures while remaining sufficiently transparent for flame inspection.
After prolonged use, the window may become discoloured, brittle, distorted or cracked. A damaged mica burner window should be replaced.
