The Entel DT982M ATEX Marine UHF is a professional intrinsically safe UHF portable radio for onboard vessel communication and hazardous marine working environments. It is suitable for commercial shipping, offshore, tankers, petrochemical sites, workboats, shipyards, harbours and safety-critical applications where reliable communication is required.
This version is the non-display model in the DTEx Marine series. The DT982M supports analogue and digital operation and is designed for UHF marine communication in the 450–470 MHz band. With its rugged construction, high audio quality, tactile controls and IP68 rating, the radio is built for harsh conditions at sea.
The DT982M has ATEX IIC T4 approval and is suitable for demanding gas groups within the approved zone and company operating rules. The radio is supplied as standard with Li-ion battery pack, drop-in charger, belt clip, high-efficiency antenna and quick-start user guide.
