The Furuno SCX-21 is a compact Multi-GNSS satellite compass for vessels requiring reliable heading and motion data. Its four GNSS antennas enable heading calculation using multiple baselines, supporting stable heading performance even in installations where satellite visibility may occasionally be restricted.
The SCX-21 outputs data via NMEA 0183 for navigation and sensor systems including radar, fishfinders, sonar and autopilots. Accurate heading data supports stable radar trails and autopilot operation, while roll, pitch and heave data can be used for motion compensation on suitable sonar and fishfinder systems.
