Rebelcell Outdoorbox 12.50 AV has been specially developed for outdoor use and in wet conditions, such as with 12V electric motors up to 55 lbs, depth gauges, and power supply along the water's edge. With charge status indicator, integrated 60A fuse, blue ANEN connector for electric motor, 12V cigarette plug connections (1x) and separate USB charger.
Sailing time, indicative operating time under normal use (low gear to half power) is 2-4 hours with continuous use of a 55 Lbs electric motor. The actual sailing time depends on the load of the boat, weather conditions, waves, and type and manner of use of the electric motor. Sailing at lower speeds can more than double the sailing time! In terms of sailing time, the battery can replace a lead battery pack up to a maximum of 12V105Ah (if used in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. For most lead batteries, this is a maximum discharge of 50%-70%).
• Your ODB is designed for use in recreation, water sports, and fishing and is expressly
NOT suitable as a starter battery for a combustion engine (such as a car or outboard motor).
• Equipment with high consumption (more than 10A), such as an electric motor, may only be connected to the blue ANEN plug on the ODB. Therefore, NEVER connect such high-consumptionequipment to the 12V cigarette lighter socket, as it is not suitable for this purpose!
• The ODB is splash-proof according to the IP65 standard and can be left in the rain. Please note that the ODB is properly closed and that there is no dirt between the gasket. The 12V connection is, provided the sealing cap is carefully closed, splash-proof but not suitable for standing in shallow water!
• If used outside the permitted standards, your ODB will switch off for safety reasons. You will then no longer have power at your disposal until normal values are restored.
• Prevent damage to the ODB by, for example, dropping it. In the event of external damage to your ODB, stop using it and have it checked for correct and safe functioning by Rebelcell.
• Place the ODB in as cool an environment as possible. Do not place it in the immediate vicinity of heat sources such as (open) fire, heating, or in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Prolonged use in higher temperatures (>40°C) will have a negative impact on its service life. At a temperature of 55°C, the ODB will switch itself off until a normal operating temperature is reached.
• The ODB is considered dangerous goods for transport (ADR class 9). More information can be found in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) on our website.
• The battery pack (with cabling and fuses) is located under the cover plate in the ODB.
Never remove the cover plate! This can be dangerous and will automatically void the warranty.
