The Garmin Approach Z30 does not have its own GPS receiver in the device itself. GPS functionality is only available via Bluetooth pairing with a compatible Garmin device (such as an Approach S12/S42/S62/S70 GPS watch) or the Garmin Golf app on your smartphone.
The Garmin Approach Z30 only displays laser measurement information and slope distance as a standalone device.
