The Cobham SAILOR B3501 is a primary lithium emergency battery for SAILOR SP3500 series portable marine radios, especially the SAILOR SP3520 VHF GMDSS radio. It is designed as a reliable emergency power source for situations where onboard communication is essential.
The B3501 is non-rechargeable. It must not be placed in a charger and should be replaced after use or when its allowed service life has expired. For daily use or training, a suitable rechargeable battery is normally used; the B3501 is intended as a primary emergency or reserve battery.
The yellow housing makes the battery clearly recognisable as an emergency battery. Always check expiry date, storage condition and compatibility with your SAILOR radio before placing the battery onboard.
