The Garmin Approach Z10 is a compact golf laser rangefinder for accurately measuring the distance to the flag or another target on the golf course. It provides 6x magnification and can measure the distance to a flag at up to 320 metres or 350 yards.
The integrated flag finder gives visual confirmation and vibrational feedback when the device locks onto the flag. Garmin specifies accuracy of ±1 yard. Reflective targets can be measured at distances from approximately 6 to 1097 metres.
PlaysLike Distance adjusts the displayed yardage for uphill or downhill shots based on the elevation difference between the golfer and the target. For competition use, this feature can be disabled using Tournament Mode. An external indicator light shows that Tournament Mode is active.
Bluetooth connectivity allows the Approach Z10 to pair with the Garmin Golf app and compatible Garmin golf watches and handhelds. The ranged distance can be sent to the connected device. When supported, the system can also show the distances from the pin to the front and back of the green.
A built-in magnet allows the rangefinder to be attached quickly to a suitable metal golf-cart frame. Find My Garmin can display the last known location of the rangefinder in the Garmin Golf app if it is left behind.
The Approach Z10 uses one replaceable CR2 battery and offers up to approximately one year of battery life, depending on use and operating conditions.
