This makes the tablets suitable for safe use in gas/vapor Zone 2 and dust Zone 22 hazardous locations. ATEX Zone 2/22 is the European equivalent of American NEC Class 1 Division 2 equipment (C1D2) and Class 2 Division 2 equipment (C2D2).
