Simrad AP70 MK2 Autopilot controller IMO starter kit met daarin een AP70K2 Controller, AC85 Cabinet en SI80 PCB. De AP70 Mk2 vervangt de verouderde AP70 en AP80 als IMO / SOLAS stuurautomaat controller. De Simrad AP70 Mk2 is een speciale stuurautomaat controller voor professionele zeelieden op commerciële schepen. AP70 Mk2 bevat alle functies van AP70 en AP80 en is compatibel met hetzelfde bereik van stuurautomaat computers, afstandsbedieningen en interface met navigatieapparatuur van derden als zijn voorgangers.
Thruster Integration & Rudder Feedback Support. De AP70 Mk2 maakt gelijktijdige stuurautomaat besturing van maximaal 6 roeren en boegschroeven mogelijk door optionele AD80- of SD80-interfacemodules toe te voegen. De strusters kunnen worden ingesteld om automatisch onder een door de gebruiker gedefinieerde snelheidsdrempel te schakelen en worden afzonderlijk geconfigureerd voor normale en werkmodi. De AP70 Mk2 ondersteunt ook gespecialiseerde roer-feedback-eenheden voor zwaar gebruik die zijn ontworpen voor een betrouwbare werking aan boord van commerciële schepen.
